The Federal Government's anticipated final rule to modify mandated HIPAA transactions was issued. 004010A1 remains the current mandate, but it's time to plan your gap analysis and 005010 transition strategy, so that you're ready for the 005010 conversion.

In cooperation with ASC X12's secretariat, the Data Interchange Standards Association, and ASC X12's publisher, Washington Publishing Company, the American Hospital Association is offering the 005010 HIPAA-mandated Implementation Guides (TR3s) at a substantial discount for AHA members.
